Rear door mounted spare tyre carrier
We have designed this wheel carrier to be the perfect addition to the back of your T4 or eurovan. Whether syncro or not, this is a lovely carrier which adds to the swamper look!
The carrier hooks over the top of the door and bolts through the skin of the door below the window reveal. The carrier follows the profile of the door for a seamless look. The gap between the window and the carrier is correct so that the wiper will slide between.
These will fit both barndoor and tailgate models. On tailgate models you need to upgrade your struts to a suitable strength. We found that 1400nm was a suitable strength for a 16” alloy wheel and all terrain tyre. There are many companies who are able to build you dampers to suit - even adjustable ones! Depending on the weight of your wheel/tyre this might need some adjustment.
All our wheel carriers come bare metal for your to paint a colour of your choice.
