UNIVERSAL COACHBUILT Spare Wheel Carrier Kit

This product is a universal product that has been designed to bolt through composite panels.

Composite panels are constructed using GRP outer skins and an XPS or PU core.

Due to the vast differences in builds we can not specify where this should be bolted to your vehicle. This is a universal product that you can use as you wish. Please take care to note the location of the spare wheel doesn't cover any lighting or cause damage injury or harm.

IMPORTANT: THIS KIT IS ONLY INTENDED FOR SPARE WHEEL MOUNTING ONTO RIGID COACH BUILT CAMPER BODIES AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR MOUNTING ON TO UNSTIFFENED VAN PANELS.

This wheel carrier is designed to bolt through a composite body panel. Adjustable fixings are used to prevent the bolts crushing the composite panel and full details can be found in the installation instructions (see below).

You are responsible for the safe installation and use of this product. Please assess carefully the mounting position and the vehicle structure that you are drilling into.

Use Sikaflex or a similar adhesive/sealant between the mount and the outer skin of the body panel to reduce any point loads and seal the panel to prevent water Ingress.
