Do I have Single or Twin rear wheels?

Our Wheel Carriers fit Mercedes Sprinter and VW LT Vans from 1996-2006.

They can accept stock or aftermarket wheels and 3.5T (5x130PCD) single rear wheels.

OR

They can accept stock or aftermarket wheels and 5T (6x205PCD) twin rear wheels.

99% of vans are Single Rear Wheels. These include Sprinter 211, 213, 311, 313, 316. The number 3 denotes that the van is a 3.5 Tonne van and has single rear wheels. 

The small minority of vans have twin rear wheels. These include Sprinter 511, 513, 516 models. The number 5 denotes that the van is a 5 Tonne van and has twin rear wheels. 

Fixings required to fit the wheel carrier to the van are supplied.

Wheel Carriers bolt to the existing hinges on the door and require a single hole drilling in the skin of the door. Wheel carriers can bolt onto 180 and 270 degree hinges with no modifications needed to the hinge.

Always test fit any bolt-on product before painting to be sure it fits. We will not reimburse for painting if the part is not test fitted prior to painting.

All drilled holes will require any bare metal painting to prevent corrosion. We also bond the door skin mount and the door skin which removes the point load off the bolts whilst also sealing up the hole to prevent water ingress.
