Please note that these instructions are for a Right Hand Ladder, however the instructions still apply, providing you make due allowance for the opposite hand.

Fixings required to fit the ladder to the van are supplied.

Our ladders bolt to the existing hinges on the door and require two holes drilling in the skin of the door and one hole drilling through each hinge. This ladder can be fitted to vans with 180degree hinges.

Instructions for the right-hand ladder are available HERE and can be used to install this left-hand ladder, simply transpose the instructions to the opposite hand.

Always follow the instructions and test fit any bolt-on product before painting to be sure it fits. We will not reimburse for painting if the part is not test fitted prior to painting.

Historically these doors have been very weak around the area that the hinge bolts to and this area frequently cracks in normal use. By fitting a ladder that braces over the top of the door and spans between the hinges and the door you are actually strengthening this area and therefore making your door less likely to crack in this area. Fitting the ladder reduces the amount the hinges can deform the edge of the door and so reduces the likelihood of stress cracks.

All drilled holes will require any bare metal painting to prevent corrosion. We also bond the door skin mount and the door skin which removes the point load off the bolts whilst also sealing up the hole to prevent water ingress.

Built to fit the left hand rear door

These fit all models with double glazed plastic rear windows too. The ladder has been designed to work around these windows.

Does not interfere with factory parking sensors
