Rear door mounted spare tyre carrier
Rear-mounted spare wheel carrier for Mercedes T1 vans.
A strong, solid carrier designed to mount securely to the rear door and suit the standard 5x130 wheel pattern.
Please check that your rear door hinges match those shown in the product photos. If yours are different, get in touch and we’ll help confirm the correct setup.
Supplied unfinished in bare metal, ready for you to paint, powder coat or finish to suit your van.

The wheel plate on this Wheel Carrier has two sets of holes:
- 5 holes each with an M14x1.5 thread on a 120mm diameter
- 5 holes each with an M14x1.5 thread on a 130mm diameter

Installation
Installation
You need to drill one 10mm hole in the middle of each hinge, and one the the door skin on the right hand side of the door. A very straightforward install.
Included are all fixings required to mount the carrier to the door. You will need to source wheel bolts to fit into the m14x1.5 tapped holes in the carrier.
All drilled holes will require any bare metal painting to prevent corrosion. We also bond the door skin mount and the door skin which removes the point load off the bolts whilst also sealing up the hole to prevent water ingress.

Wheel carriers are made to order; typically on a 10-day lead time. Following an order, your wheel carrier is added to our production planner and we aim manufacture and ship your order as quickly as possible.
