Volkswagen LT MK1 Spare Wheel Rear Carrier Door Mounted

LT28-35 with Single rear wheels.

This carrier is designed to be able to accept bigger wheel/tyre combinations as found on lifted VW LTs where the spare wheel no longer fits under the van. Standard sized 14” wheels also still fit.

The wheel clears the bumper and clears any opening window in the door.

We hand build these in our workshop. They are jig built and TIG welded by our craftsmen. There is a lead time for these. We will your carrier with you within 10 working days.

The wheel bolts on the carrier using standard wheel bolts allowing you to use locking wheel nuts. It is also possible to adjust the carrier to cater for different offset wheels/tyre combinations using studs and nuts rather than bolts. Please get in touch if you think this might be necessary.

This is a very strong, well manufactured carrier. It is supplied bare ready for you to paint a colour of your choice. Always test fit any bolt-on product before painting to be sure it fits. We will not reimburse for painting if the part is not test fitted prior to painting.
