VOLKSWAGEN T5 TRANSPORTER REAR DOOR SPARE WHEEL CARRIER

The carrier hooks over the top of the door in the same way the VW bike rack does. It then requires you to drill two holes in you door skin under the window reveal to stabilise the carrier.

These are drawn in CAD initially before being cut on CNC, parts pressed by us in our shop, and assembled by us in our shop.

If you have a spoiler then you will need to cut two slots through it for the carrier to sit through.

These were designed around a T5 barn door model and include an internal support which makes the carrier totally solid on barn door models. It will physically fit tailgate models but we suggest the tailgate is braced inside the back of the tailgate.

It is supplied bare steel for you to paint as you wish. Always test fit any bolt-on product before painting to be sure it fits. We will not reimburse for painting if the part is not test fitted prior to painting.

All Wheel Carriers are hand built and are available on a lead time of 10 working days. Construction is very robust, utilising MIG welded mild steel tube and plate fabricated in house by our skilled personnel.
